Richard Rogers has appeared in the Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival, Chamber Music West, The San Francisco Ballet Orchestra, and the Zephyr Chamber Music Series in Spokane. He toured with the Paul Dresher Ensemble in I Was Looking At The Ceiling And Then I Saw The Sky by John Adams in 1995. With duo-piano partner Kendall Feeney, he appears on a CD entitled Celebrating Six Years At The Met, Works by Washington State Composers recorded live in Spokane. Highlights of his eight years as Principal Accompanist for The San Francisco Gay Men?s Chorus include the San Francisco International AIDS Convention, the 1993 March on Washington, Classical Action: A Concerted Effort Against AIDS, and the release of five CD?s. Mr. Rogers has composed multiple keyboard and percussion pieces for Arturo Fernandez?s Left Coast Dance Company entitled Otras Manos, Living With AIDS in 1996. He is on the piano faculty of The San Francisco Conservatory of Music and lives in San Francisco with his acrobat and musician wife, Nancy and their two children, Martina and Max.
