Welcome to Yelton Rhodes Music!

We at Yelton Rhodes Music are happy to have been able to contribute so many different kinds of music to so many different kinds of choruses. We are proud to be your not-so-typical source of choral music. We are proud of our eccentricity and we thank you for supporting our writers.

CHORALICIOUS UPDATE! - July 26, 2014

Are you in the midst of figuring out the program for your holiday concert this year? We've compiled lists of the most popular, best-selling holiday works (Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Winter Solstice) from the YRM catalog! The lists are organized by voicing (mixed chorus, men's chorus and women's chorus).

Whether you've just discovered us, or if you've been a loyal customer for years, this feature at Choralicious.com may be a helpful resource!

CHORALICIOUS UPDATE! - July 18, 2014

This week's blog entry at Choralicious.com features a new publication announced last week: Kent Carlson's original work (music and words) titled Women Singing in Winter for SSA a cappella.

CATALOG & CHORALICIOUS UPDATE! - July 10, 2014

It's snowing in July at YRM! Two new publications with winter themes are now available in our catalog:

Velvet Shoes is an original setting of the Elinor Wylie poem by Dennis Rosenbaum for men's chorus, mixed chorus or women's chorus and piano. Check out our latest blog entry at Choralicious to learn more about the piece! You'll be able to peruse partial score PDFs and listen to a concert performance on YouTube by the Rochester Gay Men's Chorus.

Women Singing in Winter is an original composition with both music and words by Kent Carlson, for SSA a cappella. We'll be featuring this piece on our blog next week, but it is available now in our catalog!

CHORALICIOUS UPDATE! - July 3, 2014

Happy Fourth of July! Today's blog update features a fun performance on YouTube of John Philip Sousa's The Stars and Stripes Forever (arranged by John Kuzma) by the Heartland Men's Chorus.

CATALOG & CHORALICIOUS UPDATE! - June 27, 2014

As LGBT Pride Month draws to a close, we're excited to announce the publication of a new work by singer/songwriter Randi Driscoll titled Love Is Love, arranged for TTBB by Kevin Robison (and adapted for SATB and SSAA by Tim McKnight). Driscoll and Robison previously collaborated on what matters, a piece which has been lovingly embraced by our customers.

Please visit our blog at Choralicious.com to learn more information about Love Is Love, to download partial score PDFs of the music, and to listen to a recording of the song.

"LIKE" OUR NEW PAGE ON FACEBOOK!

Although we've had a group on Facebook, we've learned that a page would better serve our presence on the social media website. So, please visit the new page at Yelton Rhodes Music. Announcements regarding catalog updates and blog entries will be made there, to help keep you better informed about our company! And we also hope to share more about the community of singers who make this publishing endeavor of our's so worthwhile.
